The highs and the lows
The outdoor pool and excellent cocktail service during summer are a fantastic way to unwind. Friendly staff, particularly the beef steak and duck, were really good.
Some areas had unpleasant sewage odors, which detracted from our experience. We faced issues with room temperature.

The location was marvellous, for example, Soldeu el Tarter was at a walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were adequate and fairly quiet where the water was' less brown' and the beds were very comfy.

The ski-in/ski-out access is a major win, letting you hit the slopes straight from the hotel with minimal hassle. There's a games room packed with activities like bowling, air hockey, and pool tables that make for solid family entertainment after a long day on the mountain.
Heating issues are a persistent annoyance, often leaving rooms uncomfortably either too hot or too cold, disrupting sleep quality. The area near the ski lockers sometimes carries a sewage smell, which can be off-putting when gearing up for a day of skiing. Plus, while the food is decent at breakfast and dinner, the hot options often miss the mark, leading to less-than-exciting meals after a day on the slopes.

Location within 3 miles of Grandvalira. Incredible base for vacation in El Tarter. We appreciated our time at the hotel, thanks a lot.

The room was very spacious and provides wonderful view from the balcony. The breakfast was tasty and varied.
There are no appropriate options to have dinner/lunch in the hotel and surrounding area. The closest restaurants are much far away from the hotel. The hotel provides only buffet dinner for a very high price if you want to buy it when you arrives. The reception clerk appoligies that we didn't buy a dinner in advance when the price is much lower. So my advice is to have half board package (breakfast+dinner).

Location to ski hills. Ski rentals right there at back door. Staff were good, as they had to deal with many different nationalities.

The Twin Room was small but cozy, with nice decor and warmth. The beds were comfortable enough, but they were actually two singles pushed together, not a real double. It had a balcony, a great plus for fresh air but the view was just okay-better to choose a slope view. The heating was a bit off. It was either too hot or chilly at times. Daily cleaning was good, though, and the bathroom was decent in size and cleanliness.

Besides the location - excellent for skiers - the restaurant staff and some of the front desk staff. The facilities we used - inside pool, bowling, sky rentals - are also fine.
(1) the fact that the internet (wifi) failed to work properly during our stay. (2) the condition in which some of the sofas in the hotel lobby are.

Off the main road so fairly quiet.Very good breakfast and pleasant staff. Drinks in hotel not particularly expensive compared to French prices. Very well kept gardens with pleasant outdoor sitting area.
Evening meal not so good- buffet style and although main course choice was good the quality was rather poor.

Good location
You are required to pay the entire weeks bill before you even get a key to your room. Everything was pay first and as a result the service didn't matter as they already had your money. Bar man was more interested in the football on the TV than serving clients. Their Ski shop was even worse, high prices, poor equipment and no service culture. If this had of been a 2 star hotel then I would have not been so disappointed but it claims 4 stars.

Super friendly staff. Very nice rooms. Right next to ski lift.
Did not have a play room with toys. Spa was not very good.
